Third Grade Math

Monday 18th October

Math is a mighty active lesson in a Waldorf School.  Bean bags, bouncing balls, songs, poetry and rhythm are all employed to teach students mathematical principles.  It’s a complete body and mind experience.  In these two photographs you can see the Third Grade engrossed in solving math problems during main lesson.

If you are considering a Waldorf Education for your child please come and visit during a Classroom Observation Day; it’s the only way to get a fly on the wall view of our students and teachers at work.  There is a Classroom Observation each month, please visit our main website for dates and times.  Come and discover Waldorf Education for yourself.

These beautiful photographs were taken by Mark Register, photographer for HillontheAvenue.com.
