Circus Arts, Online Auction and First Grade 101

Wednesday 24th February

Fifth Grade were busy developing their circus skills today.  Rola-Bola, unicycle, stilts and the diablo were among the props used by our students during their lesson.  Circus arts is an integral part of the games curriculum at WSP.  Games Teacher, Treacy Gallagher explained that “not only do children love the challenge that circus arts provide, the incorporation of circus arts into the school curriculum supports the development of a child’s physical and mental dexterity.”

Back in the school office I came across Eurythmy teacher Anna Ziegner showing Brenda Ridley a beautiful hand-made quilt which Anna is donating to the WSP On-line Auction.

The auction will launch tomorrow.  To find out more go to  http://auctions.readysetauction.com/philawaldorf/home

PLEASE NOTE THAT, DUE TO FORECASTED SNOW FOR TOMORROW EVENING, “FIRST GRADE 101” HAS BEEN RE-SCHEDULED FOR TUESDAY, MARCH 9TH AT 7:30pm.  RSVP Required.  See the blog posting on February 19th for more details about the event.

Last but not least, I totally forgot yesterday’s Whose Shoes posting.
